Who is Kathleen Kennedy?

There are a few faces that make Star Wars unique and stand out from other sci-fi franchises. The creator and often director, George Lucas is one of them. So, is John Williams, who is arguably the best composer of all time. Well, let’s not forget about Kathleen Kennedy. She is 72 and she deserves a break. She has been President of Lucasfilm over the past 13 years! She will be a full-time producer. George Lucas had complete faith in her. It’s safe to say she’s delivered.
She has worked with the recent Star Wars films. Let’s not forget that she also has worked with Stephen Spielberg on movies like E.T. and Jurassic Park. She also worked on Back to the Future. She also worked with the show, The Mandalorian. Simple enough, she’s a powerhouse.
So, the ultimate question is: Who is replacing Kathleen Kennedy? Well, it is none other than Dave Filoni. This isn’t Dave’s first rodeo. He has been very involved with Star Wars films AND shows.
Filoni is considered a “padawan” to George Lucas. He has been studying under him for the past decade. He did a fine job with Ahsoka. The show Ahsoka was created by David. The show garnered a modest 85% Rotten Tomatoes score, so it was clearly a modest piece. He also worked on “The Book of Boba Fett”. Interestingly, he worked on “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, which was a highly entertaining show when I was a youngster.
We know Dave is a genius. I also have to point out that Dave’s cowboy hat is quite cool. He looks like Cad Bane.
